Art for Impact Grant

Community Mural Program
Art has the power to transform spaces, strengthen communities, and tell stories that deserve to be seen.
Each year, up to two Ontario-based not-for-profit organizations will receive a donated mural created by mural artist Jude Phillips. This initiative is designed to support organizations making a meaningful impact in their communities while bringing thoughtful, high-quality artwork into shared spaces.
"When I was little, I just adored the hand-painted art I would see on the walls of public spaces... In my hometown of Athens, ON. There was a mural that spanned the entire wall of our local pizza place. It was a simple scene, and beautifully done. Just a woman sitting on her porch overlooking the yard, with a young boy running up the stairs, and her cat sitting on the railing. I would just get absolutely lost in that scene, so much so that I still think about it! I would think to myself how amazing it is that someone could just paint that, and I knew I wanted to be able to do something like that one day. I am so incredibly lucky to be doing exactly that, and in a world of A.I I want to be able to create those moments for the next generation, to have something so entirely human to aspire to and to dream of creating" - Jude Phillips
This program reflects my commitment to community, and the belief that art should be accessible, but also inspiring.
